After many years of dedicated service to the Overland Park community, Dr. Stephen Haake has retired from active practice. As the founder and driving force behind Haake Family Dental, Dr. Haake played a vital role in building the patient relationships and culture of care that BlueStem Dental continues today.

A proud Overland Park native, Dr. Haake earned his Biology degree from Creighton University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he received the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award for Excellence.

Throughout his career, Dr. Haake remained deeply committed to continuing education and advanced training, including completing the rigorous OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry program and active involvement with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. His passion for health-based, esthetic dentistry helped shape the standard of care patients have come to expect at our office.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Haake treasured time with his wife, Jeni, and their three children. He often shared that helping patients and making a meaningful difference in their lives was the most rewarding part of his work.
